Genealogy Research
The museum supports genealogy research by providing many books of the area, i.e.. Census, marriage records, plot books. You can purchase these books at our museum.
Guided Tours
Guided tours of the museum. Some of the displays in our museum Laura Ingalls Wilder, Civil War, and Carl Mays. We would be happy to show you around our museum.

Tourist Information
We have Missouri State maps, local maps, and brochures for local attractions. We also carry tourist information and maps of Branson. We also have maps of Springfield, Mo.
Mansfield Area Books
We have books for sale about the local area. The book featured is Images of America Around Mansfield. The authors of this book, whose families have lived here for generations, have complied these images and captions from their own collections and from those of local residents.
Laura Ingalls Wilder Resources
Laura Ingalls Wilder who lived here in Mansfield Mo from 1894 until her death in 1957, where she wrote her renowned books. Mansfield Historical Museum has displays that show how Laura Ingalls Wilder interacted with the town. The museum carries books about Laura Ingalls Wilder such as the one displayed. We also have calendars, note cards and post cards about Laura Ingalls Wilder for sale.
