The Mansfield Area Museum recently finished the book on WWI, To the Folks Back Home: Echoes of the Great War. It contains letters that area soldiers, from Wright, Douglas, and Webster Counties, wrote home to their families and that were published in the Mansfield Mirror, combined with information on events that were occurring in Mansfield and the rest of the world. These are hardback books that can be purchased at the museum for $29.99 plus tax.
